Formed in 2009, the Association, organised by volunteers, has been paramount in supporting the development of this fast and fun sport across Switzerland. The U17 Team have won the Netball Europe Challenge Cup in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019, and played in the Europe Netball Championship Cup Division in 2020.
The National Open Team first obtained a world ranking in 2012 and has climbed as high as 28th in the world.
Swiss Netball is governed by its Statutes and Articles 60 to 79 of the Swiss Civil Code.

The Swiss Netball Committee is responsible for managing the affairs of the association which include determining strategic direction, goals and policies. The committee is a dynamic team with a passion for all things Netball, and the belief that team sport can provide positive life changing outcomes through the development of leadership and teamwork skills. Our committee team brings a wide range of professional skills and experience and give our time on a 100% voluntary basis. Lyndsay Lomax is a qualified accountant and part-time comedy writer. A former player for the Swiss national netball team, she brings both financial expertise and firsthand sporting experience to her role. She believes team sports offer powerful opportunities for personal growth, self-discovery, and – just as importantly – having fun along the way.
Jurina was born and educated in South Africa. She participated in regional netball, swimming and running up to university level.
After her career as an accountant in the commodity trading world, she put her organisation skills to the test as a mother of four.
Jurina is an LGB Ecolint and also Jets Club Netball coach. She is enthusiastic about the development and organisation of netball as a recognised sport in Switzerland.
Claudia is Aussie & Swiss. Passionate about netball, Claudia was thrilled to find Zurich Netball Club in 2012, taking the roles of President and Coach, sharing her love of netball with like-minded women. Claudia has been Captain of the Swiss National Team from 2013. With a goal to further develop Netball in German-speaking Switzerland and the country, Claudia is excited to be part of Swiss Netball.
Amy is a British national and moved to Switzerland in 2013 after studying law at University. Amy became a founding member at Nyon Netball Club in July 2020 and also took on the role of club treasurer.
She is passionate about the positive impact fitness can have on so many areas of people’s lives.
Claire is from the UK and has been living in Zurich for a year. She has been playing netball for 25 years and is now head coach at Zurich Netball.
She is a Marketing Director by trade, looking after Ribena, Orangina & Lucozade (which will mean nothing to anyone not from the UK).
When not playing netball, Claire has two children (2 & 4) who keep her very busy!
Claire is excited to join the Swiss netball committee to help to grow the sport in Switzerland.

London born Carol moved to Switzerland in 2004 and now lives in France. A chance encounter in 2016 rekindled her love for netball, leading her to coach enthusiastic primary school children at Collège du Léman and play again. She started her umpiring journey in 2018 and is now a B Award Umpire, a B Award Umpire Assessor and a mentor. Carol loves a jigsaw puzzle and chocolate! Married with a son and with a naughty beagle dog in tow, she believes where there is a challenge, there’s an opportunity to shine!

For Swiss Netball to grow and develop at all levels, we need more volunteers from across Switzerland, for short or long-term initiatives, to help in a wide range of areas of work: administration, membership support and development, communications and marketing, coordination of training opportunities, sponsorship, governance and legal matters, financial governance, administration, operational support for events and the National Squad, officiating and coaching coordination.
